Managing Performance

Picture31In today’s business environment, it is critical for managers to ensure that every member of their team is performing to the optimal level.

The overall aim of the Managing Performance workshop is to provide managers and team leaders with a variety of tools to help them develop and improve the performance of individuals within their team.

During the workshop, we explore the benefits of performance management and how and when to use a range of performance management tools.  We also look at how to motivate and improve the performance of high performers, as well as how to identify when a member of staff is under-performing, understand the reasons for poor performance and how to address them.

Participants work in small groups and pairs to practise the skills in role plays based on real situations within their own team.  Each manager has the opportunity to assess the performance of their team members and planned how to develop and/or improve the performance of each individual.
